Late June at Aberglasney

Late June has offered a wonderful display.
The welcome return of some rain has reinvigorated the gardens at just the right time. Throughout Aberglasney there are rafts of colour with certain areas looking particularly good.

The sunken garden is starting to come to its vibrant best as the spring display has ebbed away the hot colour schemed perennials start to take over. At this time the Delphinium and Asiatic lilies are the stars of the show.

Below the rose arbor in the rose garden is looking excellent as it has started to mature. At ground level the roses are partnered by Geranium, Brunnera and Lupin in a classic pink white and blue scheme.

This June the stand out display is the wildflower meadow which has suddenly burst into life. This year we have used an all native combination with the blue cornflower doing particularly well this year.
