Beautiful blossom

As the blossom season begins at Aberglasney the good weather continues and the display is fantastic. Throughout the gardens there are various blossoming trees such as Apple, Cherry and trained fruit. Coupled with all the other spring colour it can a wonderful sight.
Once again Nigel McCall has provided us with excellent images.

The malus arbor in all its glory.

We love this combination of Cardoon, white Tulips and Apple blossom.

The Fothergilla major is another wonderful shrub that flowers in the blossom season with very unusual but beautiful flowers. It also has a wonderful scent with hints of vanilla and old fashioned soap.

The Asiatic garden is starting to come to its best with drifts of Rhododendron and other spring flowering shrubs.
